Relief From Tourette’s Syndrome is the Big Story in Brain Training Today: August 21, 2009

Today at the Brain Training Centers of Florida, we are brain training seven different clients. All of our clients today are returning clients. One of them came to us for a five day ten session intensive in June for relief from Tourette’s Syndrome. Before he came he was on medication to fight the effects of Tourette’s Syndrome. Before brain training, he flinched uncontrollably in his arms and legs and his head could not be held still. Unbeknownst to us, he stopped taking his medication three days before he came. Through our brain wave optimization with real time balancing technology and our therapeutic assistance, by the end of the ten sessions, the flinching was 90% gone. He went away for the summer and returned today. His mother reported that she brought him to us hoping to get him off the medication and survive with a little flinching. We were successful way beyond her expectations, Further, there were other great benefits. He became much more relaxed and actually more happy. He asked to come back for additional brain training in order to get ready for school. The other six clients have all had reductions in anxiety, increases in focus, and enjoy overall better attitudes towards their lives. Two of the seven are recovering alcoholics/drug addicts, who remain clean and report that the brain training has helped improve their sobriety.

In Brain Training Today at the Brain Training Centers of Florida: August 17, 2009

Please forgive my indulgence in self, but Thursday I went water skiing for the first time in twenty years. Needless to say, water skiing is not wise for those with prosthetic hips. Accordingly, I hurt my right hip muscles. By Sunday I could barely get up and walk. So, I got myself on the brain wave optimization machine. I was able to have two protocol out of seven run because I was interrupted. When I got up, I was almost pain free. The symptoms of my injury had diminished by approximately 75% after just twenty minutes of brain training. Wow, I knew we were good, but this is amazing.

We also brain trained four other people with the following issues; depression, anger, fibromyalgia, chronic pain, chronic fatigue, anorexia, bulimia, addiction/alcoholism, anger, sleep issues, dyslexia, focus issues, and trauma. We also performed an assessment (brain mapping) on a new client today.

Two of our clients today were returning clients who were extremely happy with their results and were excited to do more work.

Importance of Quieting The Brain

August 5th, 2009 by Dr. Paul Nussbaum

In addition to a good night sleep and plenty of rest to enable the brain to consolidate information learned during the day, the brain also benefits from quiet moments during the day.

A quiet moment does not involve any goal, task completion, or endpoint. It is about process and about being in the here and now. A quiet moment can occur anywhere at any time so long as you permit your brain to shut down and to turn inward.

Removing structure and demand from your existence enables your brain to freely roam and to explore ideas and feelings that get shut out with structure and task driven behavior. Your most creative moments will come from such experiences.

It is not easy to create quiet moments. You need to establish parts of your day when you remove all chores, all responsibilities, and all task demands. It is simply time to be, for you to exist. It might mean a walk, sitting on a bench or under a tree, or playing an instrument. There is no conscious deliberation, it is meditative and introspective.

Sounds easy, but it is not. Give it a try and perhaps you will get in touch with your creative side!

Announcing the Foundation for Brain Training

Brain Wave Optimization with Real Time Balancing is benefiting from a new foundation created for the purpose of funding brain mapping assessments and sessions for those who cannot afford to pay for it themselves. The Foundation further seeks to fund research projects to enhance and/or improve the efficacy of this incredible new system for obtaining mental health. Developmental programs will also be considered  for funding by the new foundation. Brain Wave Optimization is an exciting new technology developed by Brain State Technologies to effect the state of the brain through brain state conditioning.

The Foundation is a 501(3c) that is currently seeking donations. Individuals and families who have benefited from the technology and wish to make a charitable donation should contact Geoff Cole at 305-796-6979. Anyone else who directly wishes to make a donation or knows someone or a corporation which may be interested is also encourage to contact Mr. Cole.
