Brain Training Centers bring Miracles to South Florida

State-of-the-art technology balances the brain to work more effectively.

(Miami, FL / February 2010)Brain Training Centers of Florida (BTC) is now offering a new technology that achieves remarkable results. Brain Wave Optimization with Real Time Balancing™ addresses the condition and balance of the human brain through a sophisticated neuro and biofeedback system.

The “Brain Training” method engages state-of-the-art computer technology and specially designed neurofeedback and EEG equipment that captures and analyzes the energy levels of the brain. Brain Wave Optimization/RTB is utilized to help individuals with a wide range of disorders, as well as those who want to enhance their creativity and intellectual or athletic performance. This technology has been very successful in treating ADD, ADHD, PTSD, OCD, depression, addiction, sleep problems, and an array of other physical and mental issues.

Josh Lewis, who was dealing with anxiety, depression and fatigue, says Brain Training Centers of Florida has unequivocally changed the quality of my life. This amazing technology achieves formidable results, which in my case can be measured quantitatively and qualitatively. It appealed to me on a spiritual level and even more so intellectually.”

Dr. Francis J. Flynn explains, “The brain is the control center for virtually everything that happens in the human body. When it is out of balance, that imbalance manifests in a myriad of ways. When we can help individuals achieve greater balance in the brain – harmonizing their brain waves – the results are pretty close to miraculous.” Francis Flynn, Psy.D, CAP earned his doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Nova Southeastern University. He is a state licensed Certified Addictions Professional who knows something about miracles as he has been a Catholic priest for 32 years, including eleven years of service as a chaplain in the Florida prison system.

“I was looking for new ways to accelerate and enhance the recovery process but would never promote any method that I had not tried myself” comments Flynn. He also adds “I had a horrific fear of flying and for most of my life couldn’t board an airplane without medication. We programmed the computer to address the problem and after “Brain Training” I no longer need medication. It has now been two years and I am still flying”

Geoffrey Cole, Program Director and “Master Brain Trainer” who directs the technical aspects of the clients’ individualized Brain Training programs, said “We are a global community trying to find ways to help children and adults with ADD, ADHD and other disorders. I can tell you first hand that I am seeing miracles every day. No medications, just ‘Brain Training’. By correcting the imbalances that cause these disorders and creating balance and harmony, we are achieving incredible results. Mr. Cole adds “We are witnessing how men and women get their lives back. Their anxieties and depression disappear – even depressions that have lasted for decades. Because we use the most advanced systems in the field, the changes are quick, deep and long-lasting.”

At Brain Training Centers of Florida, brain wave optimization is complimented by optional cognitive behavioral therapy with Dr. Flynn, integrating physical, emotional and spiritual dimensions of wellness.

BTC is located at 9990 S.W. 77th Avenue, PH 20, Perrine, Florida. For further information or to schedule an evaluation, please contact Geoffrey Cole at (305) 412-5050, via email at Geoff@braintrainingcentersfl.com or visit www.braintrainingcentersfl.com.

In Brain Training Today: February 5th, 2010

Just when I thought we had established a new record…. we are setting another new one today. Today we are helping nine of our clients benefit from the neuroplasticity of their brains through Brain Wave Optimization with Real Time Balancing (Brain Training). In the fourteen daily sessions we have available, nine people are coming in for training.

Today, the issues that we are dealing with the most seem to be helping our clients get to the neuropathway programming that originated in-utero during the last trimester of their mother’s pregnancy with them. Clearly, the neuropathway designs that the mother developed as her reality are passed through to the fetus to be a guide for the programming of the new persons mind. The programming becomes the new persons original programming. Accordingly, the mother’s past life becomes a real and valid part of the child’s life in the first neuropathways of the new brain. We are helping our clients re-wire this part of their brains to be the break in this past-life regression. The good news and bad news surrounding this is that it takes many hours (bad news) but we have been very successful in helping create a “new normal” from this exercise (good news). We also worked with helping anxiety, depression, addictions and addictive behaviors, sleep issues, focus issues, relationship issues, trust, love, and self-esteem.

It has been another great day at The Brain Training Centers of Florida.

His wife is functioning with approximately 40% less anxiety.

His daughter has experienced a dramatic change in her life and is trying to get used to her “new normal” way of living her life free of the major anxiety and perceptual misconceptions she used to be forced to live with.

The young woman with fibromyalgia reports a 90% reduction in her symptoms and improved focus and memory. She also has a heighten feeling of happiness and peace and is sleeping better.

Relief From Tourette’s Syndrome is the Big Story in Brain Training Today: August 21, 2009

Today at the Brain Training Centers of Florida, we are brain training seven different clients. All of our clients today are returning clients. One of them came to us for a five day ten session intensive in June for relief from Tourette’s Syndrome. Before he came he was on medication to fight the effects of Tourette’s Syndrome. Before brain training, he flinched uncontrollably in his arms and legs and his head could not be held still. Unbeknownst to us, he stopped taking his medication three days before he came. Through our brain wave optimization with real time balancing technology and our therapeutic assistance, by the end of the ten sessions, the flinching was 90% gone. He went away for the summer and returned today. His mother reported that she brought him to us hoping to get him off the medication and survive with a little flinching. We were successful way beyond her expectations, Further, there were other great benefits. He became much more relaxed and actually more happy. He asked to come back for additional brain training in order to get ready for school. The other six clients have all had reductions in anxiety, increases in focus, and enjoy overall better attitudes towards their lives. Two of the seven are recovering alcoholics/drug addicts, who remain clean and report that the brain training has helped improve their sobriety.

More News on Obesity

A new and important label has made its way into the national struggle against obesity thanks to a psychiatrist and obesity researcher at Canada’s McMaster University.

While the causes of obesity remain complex, it has become clear that chronic overeating is not only a primary culprit but, especially when it is compulsive and out of control, it can be classified as a “food addiction.”

In the December 2009 edition of the Canadian Medical Association Journal, Dr. Valerie Taylor, an assistant professor of psychiatry and behavioral neurosciences at McMaster and director of the Bariatric Surgery Psychiatry program at St. Joseph’s Healthcare (Hamilton, Ontario) argues that food addiction in some individuals may be a reality and needs to be considered in the management of weight problems.

At present, there’s considerable debate about how to define “food addiction” and despite a lack of consensus on a definition, researchers agree that it involves a compulsive pattern of use, even in the face of negative health and social consequences – part of the standard definition of most addictions.

Ultimately, as with addictive drugs, individuals develop a tolerance – they need an increased amount of a drug or food in order to achieve the desired high or feel full.  And, as with withdrawal from drugs, when individuals begin to limit or modify their food intake – even with only a day or two of dieting, the food addict experiences withdrawal symptoms including mood changes.

Dr. Taylor argues that the concept of addiction may help to provide some insight into why certain obese individuals continue overeating and are unable to accomplish appropriate weight loss.

It is important to understand that the National Institute on Drug Abuse, a division of the US National Institutes of Health, defines addiction as a disease of the brain. Dr. Taylor’s observations and the concept of addictive overeating may lead to the development of new counseling and medical techniques that may help obese individuals and food addicts to achieve control over their addictive processes. In the meantime, individuals who believe they are addicted to food may benefit from participating in a traditional 12-Step program and from Cognitive Behavioral counseling.

At the Brain Training Centers of Florida we are assisting people with breaking the addiction by reducing their urges and cravings. Utilizing our emergent technology of brain wave optimization with real time balancing we have been successful in assisting people with recognizing detrimental brain patterns and changing them. This process provides enhanced motivation and desire to eat right and exercise.
